FX MKII pressure gauge not working ?

Anyone having problems with air pressure gauge stop working, I went shooting this morning I emptied my air tank and decided to go home , it was too hot 110 degrees so I put my gun in the case drove back home about 40 miles then in my garage I tried to put air in the tank and the needle on the gauge didn’t move so I thought the foster is lose right! But my compressor gauge was normal and Putting air in the tank , I filled it up to 250 bar the compressor stopped but the gun’s gauge still on low 50, so tried to put air again....nothing just the compressor gauge works, my rifle is less then 4 months old , any body has any idea what happened? The gun was exposed to the heat for too long? How hard will be to change the Fx gauge? Help please !! Thank you very much.

Over tightening the gauges can also squash the little hole in some of the seals closed. If they get bumped and slightly bent it usually kills them also. I bought a couple of Huma gauges cuz one of my FX units was 40 bar off. One of the new Huma gauges was twenty bar off. So used the best FX unit for the tank gauge. Most are cheap little gauges and easily damaged.

So replace the gauges got it! Do I need to empty the air tank? Or just removed. Someone has any link in How to replace gauges? Thanks

Remove the tank and make sure there is no air left in your gun. Do not over tighten the new gauges, just hand tight. While you’ve got them off, it would be a good time to change the B-34 washer too, so you don’t get any slow leaks. The washers can get compressed, then when you change out the gauges and install them only hand tight, the washers can leak. It’s just a good time to replace them too, they’re cheap.

Ive also had good luck not even going hand tight. Just turn till they bottom out then back them off until the gauge/s are oriented how you want. They always seal for me, with the air pressure of course they stay put.

Agreed! Better than too tight for sure. My advise was based of an over tightening experience. I had a smashed or compressed washer that wouldn’t seal, tightened, more, more, more, never did seal but I did manage to wreck the gauge!
