fx wildcat MK3 power plenum question

In the picture is my .30 Wildcat MK3 and I'm looking to shoot slugs with it at say 50 grains and high BC. With slugs you gotta be at least 160 to 168(Ref. FX USA Technical department). Using a chrono and adjusting hammer tension after the regulator is set is the way I was advised to do it but then there's always more than one way to skin a cat, that also was told to me by the above referenced person. I paid 1300.00 for this thing lol. I just got off a call with FX USA and this is what was communicated to me sir.

Compact version right ?

when your rifle is a .30 compact indeed, provided you have a 1.2” PP installed, I advise you to direct to lighter weight slugs ( if it has to be slugs) . Lets say max. Til 45 grains. Then set your reg at 150 bar. Then adjust the hammer spring with your 1.5mm hex key to max speed you can get at the setting nbr. 7 . ( every time you adjust hammerspring don’t forget to turn the dial back to 7 before you test shoot. )
Then turn the speed 3-5 % down from that max. with the allen key . You need a good chronometer and make little adjustments at the time ( e.g. quarter turns) . Shoot 2 or 3 shots per adjustment and move on if needed. I bet that at 150 bar and slightly less ambitious slug weights you will get a better marriage with you cat than what FX USA is advising you.

When you think you are done try position 6-5-4.... and see if you get at least 10fps lower speeds at each setting downwards. If not you have to redo the tune .....

my error it is 2.5"

on mine there is no point going to 150 bar as FPS starts to drop off, even if i have the adjuster just set under the point where it won't cock. I have the dual port TP too.

For me its really hard to see the exact reading on the reg pressure - I think I might need to upgrade it.

So don't know how FX get 40FPE

Using a Shogun on it - the m issues thinks it sounds like a toy gun!

My dreamline .177 ,on the other hand, (with 1X power plenum) I had that up to 21FPE whereas FX state 18FPE

Can someone explain to me the difference between the MK3 AMP 1/2" spacer and the HUMA reg with its 1 1/2" spacer pertaining to the added regulated volume increase (plenum?). Or is this difference a moot point compared to the ER 2.5" PP?
