FX Maverick - MASSIVE Picture Pack + GOBS of Info + EPIC RDW !!!

Hi Steve been reading your article and absorbing information. I’ve just bought a Maverick VP in .22. I would welcome any advice in settings as a starting point for accurate good groups with 18gr jsb and 22gr slugs at 75-100m

thank you for any advice!

For settings, I'd let the gun tell ya. Read my long replies on page 2 of my other sticked thread here to learn how to get there.

Those 18.13 gr should like 850-885 and I'm guessing the Hybrids will want 890-950 ish but I'm not certain. I'd be experimenting myself on those.

Hi Steve!

Shooting all kinds of powder burners for a while I found a video about the FX Maverick more or less by accident! After watching your review I decided to order a FX Maverick Sniper in.25 and received it two weeks ago. With the 34 grs FX Pellets the performance at 50 m was pretty good with the factory settings. Rear reg shows appr 110 bar (small display) and HS is 7. Speed is 274 m/s. Unfortunately I was not able to achieve small groups at 100 m. Is it, that a tune is either good for 50 m or 100 m or should it match both distances? I have to ask such questions because I am a real rookie when it comes to PCP airguns.

Greetings from Austria!
