FX Maverick - MASSIVE Picture Pack + GOBS of Info + EPIC RDW !!!

Following along! I just got my .22 VP and swapped the aluminum bottle for the 580cc CF bottle. I was having a hard time getting it tuned above 900 FPS and then discovered, as you did, that sometimes less is more! It's shooting the 18.13 grain JSB's at 988 FPS on PW #7 and 945 FPS at PW #5. I'd really like to be able to sling some 25 grain slugs at over 1000 FPS, but will probably need the Slug Kit with the heavier hammer to achieve those numbers. How much length of pull would YOU need to add before YOUR nose will sit behind the magazine while shooting left handed.

I have the .22 as well and tuning to shoot the 18.13 at 1000fps is super simple following the guides of starting low on 2nd reg and working up. The hard part is getting slugs where you want them, even with the power kit. The hammer in the power kit is honestly too much for most people to shoot with. Unless you are planning to run the heaviest slugs and run the 2nd reg north of 150, that hammer just overpowers the valve and makes things tough. I simply cannot find anyone listing the hammer weight I need and am surprised people are not milling and making brass ones to sell with the dearth of them out there.

Beautiful pics indeed. I just received my EDgun Leshiy 2 from EDgun West and was extremely pleased with the accuracy but not so much with the low magazine count. Seriously thinking about selling it and buying an FX Maverick.
