well I got out today but I had two things against me for making it a really great day …first it was -20 and really windy and the pigeons were reluctant to fly down from the silos and the owner doesn’t want them shot on the silos ….and second the battery in my camera went dead in the cold lol
I did manage to get 4 of them to fly in and land in the decoys for a clean shot though!
    better luck next time!

I used a Harris Bi-pod and I drilled and inserted sling studs into the stock and attached it to the front stud.

hope this helps you? ….I just bought a set of uncle Mikes screw in studs with qd sling swivels center punched the stock where I wanted to put them then taped a drill bit that was slightly smaller then the screw at the depth of the screw and drilled the stock and inserted the screws!

I guess they have been in for a few months now still solid, I had originally thought about epoxy or Gorilla gluing them as well but I am very happy to say that has not been necessary …hope this helps

MRT949 I am really liking it a lot I only have one season in with it but wow! …it offers me everything I was looking for out of an air rifle and more it is my far one of the most accurate firearms I have shot hard hitting and recoil less the best part for me is no need for tanks and hoses as I get 6 shots before having to pump it up or 3 quick pumps per shot and pumping the on board side leaver is a snap ..even my kids can do it all day long without fatigue…..I will be looking very closely at either a 25 or 30 cal Independence if i feel I need another air rifle! …so far flawless and worth every penny!
