I decided to change the O-ring (still original and good) with the ones I received from "OringsandMore.

O-ring 6,4 x 1,3 NBR 70

However, those new ones appear to be a little skinnier than the original that I took out. I just wanted to know if any of you ever noticed this difference when you changed yours out.

Thanks

heavy-impact, I measure a few from the bag I received and they have different thickness. The one I thought to be the original got mixed up. After rechecking, the replacements were between 0.9 mm and 1.23mm. The one I selected to use was a little thicker at 1.26mm. The original one was closer to 1.37mm. I am sorry for the screw up in measurements, but you can clearly tell the difference. If you have one, can you check the measurement to verify? Thanks. I would appreciate if anybody who has replacements can also try taking the measurement so I can know if I got some screwed up o-rings from OringsandMore. Damn! I bought a lot of o-rings from them.

I would not use a credit card to make a C-3 bumper....it would not be a bumper at all, just a hard stop. This will be harder on the reciprocating hardware.

There's no difference between the delrin bumper upgrade and using the card aside from thickness. I have experimented with different thicknesses of this washer, going from the original o-ring to 1.5mm and up to 4mm and down to credit card thickness of .75mm. The purpose of the original C3 bumper is so there is not metal on metal contact between those parts.

Last night I inspected the C3 bumper and noticed that it was stretched over the C1 19604 Hammerseat. It is definitely hitting metal so I have to get this remedied immediately. Since most are upgrading to the Delrin bumper, I figure that I should do the same. Now, I just have to get the part. I have ordered an acetal Delrin rod to see if I can make one myself. If all else fails, I will resort to the " 2.9 X1.78 PUR 90" as listed in the O-ring list.

Thanks for the replies all.

PS: Does anyone know what are the dimensions of the Delrin bumper? Thickness, diameter etc.

The picture shows how stretched the original bumper (greenish color one) got.
