had a lot of these gauge and forgot I had them, said hey let’s see if I can make an adapter and use the gauge because OEM in between line is 50b and takes a lot of guessing and forget the preference point—and I do look at the gauge a lot, now I can guess within 5b and with my ageing far sighted eyes its a joy to look at.
The OEM works just fine and no need to replace, but for me I mod anything to make the AG more enjoyable to shoot and look at.
the gauge seats perfectly with the delrine washer/seal so just screw it on hand tight and 1/4 tune with the wrench. Thanks to FX in making the fitting the same size made it easy to upgrade, not like the royale gauge that has a smaller fitting.
the regulated pressure is set at 120b for the .22 when VS adjusted she max out the 18g at 950fps and thats the way I like it—still vary accurate at that speed.
I tested the 2 new gauge to my 2 gauge on the fill tank—wow all 4 gauge are within -5b–now I know the pressure diff when refill and fill point.
I don’t know about you and don’t care but I love the look of brass mix with silver

Was going to order them but wasnt sure of the fitment in the regulator gauge specifically as it has a cut out for the stock gauge. Model 111.12.27 for those interested.
Ernest, your Impact is mutating gradually
(in a good way)
Did you fabricate anything to fit or was it a straight swap?

Model 111.12.27 – this is 27mm dia gauge with 315bar (10 bar interval markings). Should be easy to source this as it’s regular production product
However do confirm the fitting size as these come in 1/8 BSP and 1/8 NPT. I’m not sure what size FX use, Ernest can confirm that.

Be aware that the pitch of 1/8NPT is slightly different than 1/8BSP, 27 vs 28 tpi.
It easy to ruin a thread by running 1/8NPT in a 1/8BSP hole. The FX gauges are 1/8BSP. (G1/8)G1/8 is BSP Be aware that the pitch of 1/8NPT is slightly different than 1/8BSP, 27 vs 28 tpi. It easy to ruin a thread by running 1/8NPT in a 1/8BSP hole. The FX gauges are 1/8BSP. (G1/8)I measured both threads with a gauge, I see no difference. I removed both gauge more than once and inspected the threads with no signs of damage or wear, also tested just hand tight and hold a seal.
I would think the loose fitted gauge threads on the action allowed the NPT to thread in easy. there is no cross threading feel about it, even tested at 300 for 12 hours then inspected threads with no sign of wear.
to be on the safe side please don’t do what I did on the gauge swap get the right matching threads–like weatherby stated. but for me it’s safer than learning my face on the action when firing–I live on the edge—gauge are staying on board. If I damage the threads or my face I’ll let you know.

Deleted AccountThis what you do is exactly what I have said here before the Impact has come on the market.
Some may still remember? lol
For a 2000 gun the original manometer are very bad in my eyes! ps.
Wika has already more accurate gauge on the market as this, they example used ED already in his new Guns and me two^^

Couldn’t agree more. Bottle pressure gauge on mine shows 150bar whereas fill bottle gauge shows 120bar. It was less initially but over time it’s gone up. Both these FX gauges need to go.

Bottle gauge is a direct fit however the regulator pressure gauge doesn’t seat fully(leaks) hence an o-ring / derlin ring would be required. I used 5.28×1.78 PUR70 (same as Wildcat breach o-ring) and it’s a perfect fit with no leaks. How long it holds I can’t say.
There’s a minimum 15bar difference between the FX and Wika gauges. FX reg gauge was showing just below 150bar and Wika is showing just above 130bar!
Thought it wouldn’t look nice but it’s odd that it does (to me anyways). Nonetheless for such an expensive rifle where accurate measurements for tweaking matter, this should be a worthwhile upgrade. Hopefully FX will upgrade these gauges for more accurate ones in version 2.

October 3, 2016 at 6:46 pm LinkHi Guys
Just wanted to give a second thumbs up for these gauges.
Got sick and tired of my FX Royale gauges breaking so I fitted these.
You have to router out the stock to make them fit but well worth it.

I recommend that you type in the model number from the photo posted by Ernest into Google.

California importer indicated there may a minimum order, but that regional distributors would likely sell individual gauges. In my case the closest one is in Georgia (eastern time zone)… closed at the moment. The California rep said they are budget friendly parts, and more than likely on the shelf in Georgia. If there turns out to be a minimum-order-limit perhaps we could organize a group buy. Will cross that bridge if/when it appears.
- Specify brass or chrome
- Specify “Hi” pressure version
- Specify G1/8B threads
- Part number 111.12.027 (references in other posts left out the “zero”)
They may ask the diameter. It is 27mm
The pdf file indicates the “Hi” pressure version reads 0-400 bar… ignore that. It reads 0-315 bar. Will let you know how the ordering process goes.
The Georgia based WIKA distributor’s number is 888 945-2872Hope this helps.
