The gun in all aspect is functional but theres are some issues that needs to be addressed to the FX company don't get me wrong this gun is keepable. Here's a short and quick review.
I love the looks and idea of the Fx impact but things like this always makes me afraid to buy something new till the bugs are worked out. I hope FX takes good care of you man.
Good idea with the ball to lock the barrel when the screw delivered from FX is too short. And another way for someone to offer custom pieces for the impact. I know the gauges can be way off, as much as 50 bar, but yours is actually only 10 off. 2750 psi = 189.6 bar.
I just came one post closer to cancelling my deposit on an FX Impact. The materials, measurements, and machining don't seem to line up with the cost of the gun.
Have you contacted your dealer and formally asked for fixes to things like the barrel screw being too short?
2750 PSI = 190 BAR. You're only 10 BAR off which is common with small manometers.
I have to agree with you on the brass barrel adapter. Seems like it might wear after repeated barrel changes. All of mine still look like new. But anyone who thinks they can just toss this airgun around like a common powder burner is in for a rude awakening. It should be handled like a precision instrument (an expensive one at that). Maybe there is a reason why they chose that material???
I like the looks of the gun. You'd think by know some issues would not repeated, like the foster fill. Didn't they have the same issues with first gen Bobcat? I'm sure FX will address these issues I guess it just sucks to go through that with that $2000 price tag. Goodluck.
