This is from Matt Dubber after I asked him his experience so far with the liners and slugs:
Ok, 3 inches is horrible but I’d need more info to solve the problem, if he is shooting them too slow they won’t stabilize because the twist isn’t that fast. If he is getting good accuracy with the pellets and other slugs then I don’t see how the barrel could be a problem, he might just be shooting the wrong size / weight slugs at the wrong speed. I’ve seen some horrible groups at 50 with the slug liners but only when using the wrong length/size/velocity. He should buy a testing pack of .217 and .218 23 and 27gr slugs and shoot them at minimum 880fps
