Tuning FX Impact Reloading block issues

Sh*t. I ordered a new one Friday I hope I get the right one I have the mk1 with the thinner pin. If I were you I call the dealer and get the right one.

Ask the dealer if they have the matching linkage, or open the hole on the linkage up a bit. Not much else can be done?

I had the same problem. I just drilled the hole bigger. It's been working fine for months now.

I also ordered one from Bagnall & Kirkwood, UK, but it also had a small hole.

Theres two pins pressed into the block, one grabs the hammer one attaches to the cocking lever. Make sure he knows what you mean

That's great they made the pins stronger but sucks that you have to modify things to make them fit.

Don't you have a drill? It should be a common household item. Just find a bit same diameter and drill it bigger to fit. Easy fix.

Please reach out to our technicians at FX USA or your dealer. You are going to need the appropriate reloading linkage for the MKII. You can modify your existing linkage but you'll need an appropriate drill bit and a drill press in order to drill it correctly. The hole has to be enlarged off-center so you'll need to call and speak with a technician for details if you wish to modify it yourself.

Could your technician share the details here? Not everyone here is from the US.

My block pin wobbled completely out of the block on my new .35 Impact at 500 pellets. Went with a Saber block and Ernest's short throw cocking arm ... love them both! Mike

Drill it out bigger centered on the existing hole. No magic there, it can't "fall off" as there's nowhere for it to go. Just don't make it too big so its sloppy.

I broke my cocking lever and the holes in the linkage were worn oval. The replacement linkage FX sent had the hole for the block too small, as above. FX said there were two versions (this was in December) and sent me another one. It fits and works, but while waiting I just drilled the hole larger in the first one they sent. It also fits and works fine, so drill away. I did it with a regular cordless drill, slowly, stating with a bit just barely larger than the existing hole, test fitting at each step until the pin just slid into place. No biggie.

Thanks for sharing, good to know how to fix this. My pin was loose and started dropping. Fortunately I didn't force the clocking handle or bend anything. But I did manage to stop it dropping by cleaning off the oil and adding blue locktite to the block

If the blue loctite doesn't hold well enough try JB weld.
