I am not the expert, but I think that the new one needs the 15 Belleville washer stack and the new ball end set screw. The distance between piston, set screw and high pressure inlet are critical.
There is a new 13 and 15 washer stack available, also the old stack had two thin black Belleville washers then 9 silver. The new ones are all the same thickness. The old set screw knife edge can be slightly flattened to help prevent it gouging the piston
I don’t recommend using 11 washers with the new piston, I do recommend calling FX US or U.K. service centres, I know for a fact that both Ernest and Liam will talk you through the fitting process.
