Anyone using this new rail extender on their Impact? At first glance it looks like a great thing for the bipod, but possibly uncomfortable for gripping the air cylinder

I’m not using it with my Impact but I made up an extender for my Crown last year that is great off the bench or prone. In the photo the barrel is not extended when it is its slightly longer than the extender.
Made from a length of aluminum pipe attached to rifle with a scope ring, bipod is attached with a short screw on and bolted Picatinny rail.

Qoddy, do you have a link to buy that rail extender? It appears to have rail along the whole length, which is nice if you want to move the bipod back or forth to find a sweet spot. The only other one I have seen only has rail at the far end, leaving only one option for mounting the bipod, which is not a good design IMO and the reason I never bought one. Thanks.

Made one for my HM 1000 out of oak. Toilet hold down bolts work perfectly in the accessory rail.

@quoddy the Kraford&Lypt extension is pretty comfortable to hold, plus it doesn't rest on the air tank. They also have a few other cool Impact parts.
