FX Impact question

Ok. How in the world are you guys able to take out this o-ring (C39 on schematic)? What o-ring pick do you use? I tried using the non-marring o-ring pick...but it’s not working lol.

I created my own tool using a small wooden dowel rod and a sewing needle. I drilled a small hole in the dowel rod, then glued the sewing needle into it. I’m able to ever-so-gently stick the oring with the needle and pull the oring out. Be very careful and take your time. You do not want to scratch the oring groove in any way.

This is a good idea. Thanks.

I tried plastic picks and the like but they did not werq. So, I ended up using a straightened sharpened metal dental pick. I stabbed it about halfway through, being careful not to damage the sealing surface on the other side, then pulled it up and out of its place. It was not difficult once I finally decided to do what I had to do.
