gixxer3000"gixxer3000"I seriously doubt it will damage anything. I think what ernest means is if you force the rod in place during reassembly there is a chance to nick/damage the larger oring.
If it IS too tight, it will be the oring that gives up first due to excessive rubbing, not the steelrod or the channel it moves in, but you allready know how to replace it now =)
Personally i would not take an airtight/working airgun appart
