FX Impact Probe Problem

That 3mm screw/hole keeps the probe in given distance only and shall not expect other function from it.

The co-linear alignment is a stack up tolerance in between the probe OD and holding block hole ID. I don't see other way to tighten the co=linear only to shim it or make a new probe.

The other possibility is that the block (feeding pin holder B10) got loose on the loading mechanizam assy (feeding pin guide - B12)?

Btw, mind you sharing how did you got there a pin to be loose/not alligning?

This is all i can think of too, usually they are loctited and haven't heard of one coming loose but never know.

Speaking of the probe and THAT screw, I just had to order another probe assembly because I stripped ANOTHER screw trying to remove it. I'm 2 for 2 having to replace the assembly. Like Yo said, it must be red locktite. There has to be a better solution, perhaps using star shaped torx screws???? Tried heating with heat gun still no go, kinda important with the Impact being a caliber changing gun!

Get a cheap little propane torch, probably not getting enough heat in it.
