FX IMPACT MKII PROBLEMS

So I recieved my MKII Impact yesterday at the dealers, the front gauge is the old style which really hacked me off!

Secondly the components of the gun seem to be the same as my other Impact in .25 (about 4 months old) where is the extra 25% volume, I thought the tube was bigger on the MKII.

I cannot get any more velocity out of it than with my other Impact at 150 bar 15mm spring and valve wound out to max, am I missing something?

Any help from someone who already has one would be much appreciated!

I was really hoping that this mk2 to be awesome I want one but I don want to be scam like that on a 2k pcp..I saw the new matt duber video about the fx slug barrel .the only part that boils my blood is when he talks trash about other manufacturers barrels he is only selling fx products he's pocket depends on their sponsorship.he is not objective in his comment on others manufacturers I remember when smooth twist was the best in the world..now it isn't .whe dont need fx ro shoot slugs accurately. I shot 20g slugs from my 22 taipan long 34g from the .25 taipan long accurately...I could shoot 40g at 940fps fron my 22 condor and with the top hat #1 insert 25g at 915fps ..200 yards..ok it don give me 120 regulated shots but is fun to shot I'm not in a competition so I don't need all that shots from a fill .. if fx buid a reliable impact I buy one is a awesome platform even being a overpriced toy I have never sent one of my sheeper toys for a repair the have work flawlessly.

Did you mention these things to them at the time you picked it up?

What do you mean sorry? replacing parts on old guns and claiming they are new MKII guns?

Amir8, so yours came with only the reg having the new gauge as well?

I presume then they run out of gauges so in order to ship they use the old ones.

IMO this is not acceptable!

As far as dealers replacing parts I suspect not, (at the moment) simply because the gun would need to be stripped almost completely to change the blocks with the MKII laser engraved, however I do know FX has promised to ship the upgrade parts to dealers/end users in the future.

My gun arrived at the dealer literally 15 minutes before it went out of the door again.

The main point being, WHERE IS THE EXTRA 25% capacity in order to achieve the extra power? the FX tuners here can't find it!

From the reading that I have done the Mk11 serial numbers start with 190.....

What is the serial number of your Impact?

I just watched a YT video where the user had recieved his MKII, both gauges were fitted but no large capacity mag supplied, this definitely is a case of shipping out before there are enough parts availible.

Sorry but I feel I have gained nothing over my Impact that I got at XMAS.

I emailed FX but like most of Europe I suspect they wont be back to work until tomorrow (Tuedsay) the same fro the supplier.

I will update as soon as I get a response.

Good question, but to answer that you would have to understand how the firearm laws work here.

Donno how the firearms law work where you live but for sure that is not an MK2 ... the plenum looks old (is not bigger)

Okay so panic over, I had a personal call from Johan Axelson explaining why the power increase parts were not included in my specific gun and the issue they had with a batch of gauges.

He is sending the new parts FOC to the tuner here and will pay them for the fitting work.

Relieved and excited now!

Great! FX always take care of customers IME. Sometimes it take a while, but they stand behind their clients!
