Sighting in that site (or any site for that matter ) needs to be done from a solid rest . Worst case use a work vise . I shoot groups of three than make small adjustments . One more thing chose a distance that will work for most applications , for pellet shooters I use 35 yard zero most of the time . Last but not least , pick a pellet and stick with it or pellets of the same weight .

That sight is usually for close combat type shooting . The size of the dot will have a huge effect on accuracy for example a 5 MOA dot will cover 5 1/4” at 100 yards so if you were to scale that to 30 yards the dot would cover just over 1 3/4” . As you can see that doesn’t translate to stacking pellets one on top of the other which the impact is capable of out to 50 yards with the right pellet or bullet. I would not use a red dot on anything other than a pistol with less than a 2 MOA dot at close range when hunting . I would suggest at minimum a 6x scope . I prefer an FFP type scope as I’m too lazy to make range cards for different magnifications using an SFP scope.

The EOTECH EXPS3 is one of the finest optics in the world, it's just totally not suited to the normal application of an IMPACT IMO, having said that unless you are planning to use a magnifier and NV for close range rat shooting in darkness? then it could be the best choice you made?

I dont think many that own an Impact won't have double loaded at some point, not sure what you mean by "air came out of my fingers" though?

Does the gun function properly once reassembled?

The spec sheet on this sight lists it at 1 MOA . That would mean 1”(roughly at 100yards ) 1/4” at 25 yards and also .5 MOA per click ( pretty coarse adjustment ) Should be sufficient for pesting out to 100 yards if you can see the target . Maybe add a magnifier like a 3x to help with longer shots . Should be able to get one fairly cheap on amazon or aliexpress this way you’re not out of pocket too much money if you don’t like it .

I was thinking about getting a regular scope but don't want to lose the habits of shooting a reflex sight since it's a quick release it's easy to change from gun to gun I have a scope on my Springer but it's probably trash been on there for 9 years and training myself to shoot with booth eyes open looking down range wasn't easy but this 28 shot beast is making it second nature as I can practice all day in the back yard now eotech is probably the best sight for case a purpose of any assault rifle but the cost and time neede to training yourself to use it effectively on an assault rifle or pistol unless you live out in the country, long an costly so my MKII is dual purpose it's training on the reflex sight and will be a backyard pester once I'm accurate .

so I decided to take the advice I have a RAZOR AMG holographic sight 1 moa red dot with a 3x magnifier so I switched it out with the Eotech and man this impact is a laser beam compared to my Eotech EXPS3 . I sighted in on a saw horse with a rolled towel and couldn't miss I rarely missed off hand then it just didn't seem to hit anything a couple shot later and blowback when I cocked the rifle. So back to the workshop I went 6 pellets stuck in the barrel again is it because I have power wheel set to min or bad pellets.

Be sure you are cocking it all the way back. If you short stroke it I believe the magazine will/might rotate just enough that a pellet might be inadvertently pushed into the barrel without the gun being fully cocked enough set the hammer into the fire position.

Question, when you know for sure that there are no pellets stuck in the barrel and you cycle the lever and it's loaded, you pull the trigger what's happening? Does it not fire a pellet? If not what does it sound like. Just trying to figure out what's happening with your gun. If it don't fire a pellet don't cycle the lever again. Remove the magazine at that point and investigate.

Just thought of something else. Are you maintaining at least 150bar in the pressure bottle. I've heard of newbies shooting the gun down to zero pressure not knowing any better. If you ran it down to near zero there won't be enough air pressure to shoot the pellet out of the muzzle. Just throwing it out there, no disrespect intended.
