Thanks so much guys! Yes Bobs gun is modded for max power while maintaining harmonic stability. I know Ernest posted on here what the mods were, and i just put them on instagram a couple days ago as well .
we swapped it to .25 but did nothing else to the gun besides play with the hammer, valve, and reg.
The gun really wanted to throw the 36 grain slugs at 980. We had to tame it down for best accuracy. Too bad too because i would get a one hole group for four or so....but then the flier was unacceptably out of the group.
The 32.8 grainers were smoking! And got way weird in the transonic zone. 36 grains seem to be right in the sweet spot. It shot the 39 grainers well, but not as well as the 36.
I have not shot an air rifle this far before. As you saw we were gathering the dope in that group. Looks like lots of promise with some practice at that range now that we have the drop dope!
