FX Impact MKII 22 first groups w/ slugs

I see bipod rail extender..very nice..

Yes, it's a custom part. I don't know if they can be ordered. However, Utah Airguns has a similar part available on their website.

Incredible...first groups after zeroing, and in the last 20 minutes of the day. Just imagine what’s coming! Thanks for sharing.

For sure! I need to lighten the trigger a tad and also position the trigger shoe how I like it, both should help a bit. Other than those two minor things, it's perfect!

:)

Įspūdingas, puikus fotografavimas.

Kas yra reg? Ir kaip greitai fotografuojate tuos 29g?

Mine is actually an Impact X upgraded to a MKII.

I don't know what all Ernest did to it, but I don't think it's maxed out. It's at 148bar so there's probably room to go higher power, but I'm not going to do that in 22 caliber.

I have a bunch of slugs already from 26 to 40gr to play with, but will likely stay with 28gr. If I go higher, it probably won't be more than 31gr.

This weekend I'll check the 28gr for accuracy at 150yds. When the weather warms up and the 200yd range opens, I'll check groups at that distance being I'll be trying for some long shots like that this summer.

Yes, keeping the Crown but it's taking a break until I get another scope.

probably you have a milled valve housing, a bigger valve seat (5.8 or 6.3 original is 5.5), for sure an external plenum (that does not come with any impact), a harder C3 bumper. TP might be elongated too, easy to check that. If not, do it, is a big gain in 0.22 ;)

I'm not going to touch the gun at all, though I will look at the TP whenever the barrel needs to be removed. Even if it's unmodified, I'll leave it that way.

I have a ported and polished TP on my Crown, and it gave quite an improvement so no argument as to it's it's effect, I just have no desire to try to improve anything the way the gun came to me.

just checking the pellet probe you should know (no need to remove the barrel), but if ER took it, probably is.

Extra mods done on Bob’s impact;

1: front of valve housing was milled larger

2: 6.50 VS

3. Rod spring moved 3” away from rod delrin seals

4: rear block gauge connect through hole was milled larger for the external plenum tube for faster flow to feed the valve.

5: double transfer port on barrel and pellet probe.

wanted to get max speed below 150b with this tune

At a short period I was shooting the 29g Slug 1040 FPS for stress testing.😎
