FX Impact MKII 22 first groups w/ slugs

Straight out of the box, Ernest Rowe tune, just mounted my scope and went to the range. First groups after zeroing....28gr slugs from 700mm slug liner....50 and 100yds.

I didn't have time to Chrono before going to the range as it was already 8:00p.m., sunset at 8:20.

ADDED:

Chrono'd it yesterday....980fps with those slugs!

Nice choice Bob, your gonna have to get a bigger vehicle to carry all the airguns to the farms when you go. What distance were your two groups at?

Was this at a hundred yards or meters? Because if it was at 25 it wouldn't be impressive.

Yes Glem. I don't know if that's how they all come. Ernest had it for a couple of days.

Ernest tuned my FX Impact .25 cal. for 71-73 fpe. The plenum -- identical to the one in Bob's photo -- was added.

I see now. The OP states clearly that the groups were shot with a slug liner.

I thought you said Summertime for your Impact. Great choice on Sliver, that's the one I want. I'm kinda tired of all black air guns. Those groups will do nothing but get better with time. You know we all want a new video now, right!!! lol Damn, I'm so jealous.

Outstanding! The whole project uses the nicest of everything! Scope, scope base, sumo, bipod, and the list keeps getting better! Very nice build!!

I would say this is not a good time to be wearing a feather suite!

Those are at 50 and 100 yards? I've seen impact with pellets do way better than that. Like one hole at 50 and leaf clover at 100. Those groups have spaces between each shots even at 50 yards. Not impress with slugs.

I know I shoot for Daystate ... But Damn ... that looks nice ! My buddy has a couple of these and I must say they are impressive for sure . All this buzz about the MK11 gets me going alright !!
