FX Impact MKI Gauge Hole Plug

After several attempts at replacing the stock Fx Impact MKI gauges with new stock Fx Impact MKI gauges (all totally inaccurate), I've decided to replace them with Wika gauges. I'll be relocating my pressure gauge on the side of the dual bottle manifold which will leave me with a hole where I removed the old pressure gauge. The original plan was to use the plug from the dual bottle manifold but it's slightly too big.

So my question... does anyone know what size plug this takes and where I can get one? I'd like it to be as flush as it can be after all is said and done.

Thanks all! -Dave

I am not home for another week and my guns are back there...If you have a caliper, use it for measuring the depth of the hole and if you don't have a caliper, measure the length of the threads on the gauge that was installed in the gun (Threads to bottom of gauge)...A tad shorter is better than a tad longer, either perfectly flush or a little recessed is what you want. Consider using blue loctite after you check fitting and are sure there are no leaks (*)

(*) Plugs are sometimes tricky and leak, specially when they are a tad shorter or when they don't seat perfectly for a tight seal... if you have a leak, use an O Ring at the bottom of the hole where the head of the plug sits.

AZ

PS. I called my lab and the technician says that the threaded bottom section of gauge part is 9 mm long...So you need a 9 mm plug....If it is a tad shorter the O ring will make it fit flush; 9 mm will not be longer.
