Fx impact MK2

Why have you not contacted FX? Since you are in Denmark, it seems that contacting FX direct would be appropriate. If it needs to be returned, I would think the shipping time would be short. Aren't you about 500 km from FX? There is no need spending so much time and energy trying to get a new rifle to shoot. FX will probably claim you have voided the warranty if you install the Huma reg.

I hope the Huma reg helps, but I'm afraid it is not the problem, or not all the problem. Assuming no issue with the hammer and spring assembly, I would suspect something in the barrel assembly. You should probably be sure that you are not going to seek further assistance from FX before installing the Huma, as I expect they will claim it voids the warranty.

FX is very innovative, and they make some interesting products, but the new stuff is too complicated for my taste. And the way they continue to design and re-design things at a frenetic pace, it suggests to me, maybe they aren't spending enough time in perfecting fewer, but very solid rifles. I don't need one rifle to do everything, it just needs to do a few things very well, and in a reliable manner. The only FX rifle I currently own is the old school Royale 400, IMO the best rifle they ever made, and one of the best I have ever owned. But I digress, good luck in resolving your problems.

I dont want to send it back, becouse when i talked to the dealer it sounded like he already decided not to pay for any of it, and i won’t pay for something i Can do for my self, So i Will try the huma reg. And if it dossen’t work then i’ll buy a new liner. I really can’t imagine what Else it Can be.

it maybe looks terrifying to take apart but it’s really straight forwards.

But its totally unacceptable that i should deal with this on a new 1600$ gun and no help from dealer or fx.

Pretty sure my next gun issen’t a FX 😔🤷🏼‍♂️

I know the OP is not in the USA but for people in the USA installing a Huma regulator can not void the warranty under federal trade laws. Falls under this same rule https://www.ftc.gov/news-events/press-releases/2018/04/ftc-staff-warns-companies-it-illegal-condition-warranty-coverage

This is a very slippery slope, and one with which I have had some experience. True, the FTC reg attempts to offer protection to consumers who choose to use other maker's parts. But in practice, it often becomes a matter of how the maker claims the part in question may have been detrimental in some way. The argument may be without merit, but the time and cost of challenging it can put the consumer in a difficult position.

Depends on the size of the company and in this case it would be impossible to prove the Huma regulator does any harm. It would be foolish for the manufacturer to let this go to court.

Not a matter of going to court, that would never happen (unless it was a much larger monetary issue). The problem is dealing with one person after another until someone finally authorizes the work. Meanwhile, you have rifle that you can't shoot, or a car you can't drive, etc. You are totally right, it would be a dumb decision, but it happens. Sorry, didn't mean to get off topic. To the OP, sounds like you have a plan, good luck.

So i fineally got my huma regulator ind and there is no creep and the poi is not shifting so, now i know what kind of problems a regulator can couse.

I also put a wika gauge on the reg so i know i can trust the reading on the gauge.

The installing of the regulator was straight foreward and everybody can do this. Just make sure to see the video and read the instructions.
