Fx impact cocking lever doesn't have any resistance before cocking the hammer. It works and cocks the hammer fine. But it's so loose when it's back to normal position.

donno, might be loose plate screws B14 or maybe A9s missing...just ideas never had that problem

Are you missing the rubber ball in the front of the hammer block? There are 2 holes in the end toward the valve adjuster. You should have one ball in the hole opposite side of the cocking lever.

My guess is a missing rubber ball in the front of the reloading block. There are also the correct dimensions to be followed during assembly. Take a look on FX Masterclass videos on Impact.

There is one rubber ball on the left side since new.I found out there is a gab between the hammer block and the barrel support. Maybe I should unscrew the linkage a bit to make it longer. For now I used sponge tape and it's working perfectly.
Any suggestion is really appreciated.

Where you place the Sponge tape is where there should be a rubber ball. It press against the level block. It must of fallen out.
I just check on mine. I only see one ball on the left side. On the right side is a empty hole. Probably fell out. But idk where. It still works fine with just one ball. But should be two, one on each side.

Im missing one of the rubber bumpers as well, I could not locate a part number??? Has anyone replaced one these?

Looks like problem is with the cocking handle linkage. There is a pin pressed into the bottom of the aluminum block where the cocking handle is anchored. The pin will not bend (only break) as it is hardened but the aluminum block is soft and you can easily mar the hole if you were to pull the linkage back too hard when cocking or in maybe your case force it closed. Also you spoke about unscrewing the linkage to make something longer. I beleve you are talking about the rod that attaches the block to the probe? Adjusting that will only change the depth of your probe into the breech. If you were to screw this rod in making it shorter you could bottom the probe out when closing the breech which would then force the pin i was talking about forward causing the damage i was talking about. Is that maybe what happened?

I took my Impact X apart and lost that damn ball! just recieved 4 (part # 5110 4.75 NBR70) I put one on the rightside and it did nothing I'll take it back apart and put it the left and see if that helps
