FX IMPACT ISSUE

This weekend I had time to really spend the day shooting over a chrony. I set everything up, started at 250 bar & the 3rd. Setting in .25 cal. My goal was to get a reasonable amount of shoots while shooting JSB's Heavy at around 875 fps. Well, that was rather easly done. However, the problem was after this. I switched the setting to 2nd. power. To see where the FPS would be and it remained the same. So, thinking " well maybe there's just not much difference in just one setting. I kept going down to the minimum setting. Still the same result. So before I send it back to AOA. I wanted to know if I was doing anything wrong on my end. Finally, I loaded some just 25.4 grain just to see what would happen and it shoot them across the board on every setting 960's fps. For some reason I think my settings aren't working as the should. Has anyone had this type of issue? If so, what was the fix.... Now, I ordered some new Hi-cap magizines as well. None of them are working properly, they stick for the first 8 to 9 shots then start to turn properly....what's up with that. Do they need some grease or something? I'm looking forward to some help here. I'm a handy guy so whatever needs done I can do it. But I'm not arbitrary going to break the gun down with out some feed back from some much more knowledgable airgunners then I. Thanks SAS

Don't take offense but first have you read the manual? and second i heard there could be issues with changing the power setting if the gun was cock (the very first time you changed power settings). Thats the only thing i've heard on this issue. The magazine thing it is the first as well, if you spin the magazine by hand does it seem to release the pellets good that way?

Oh also check out Ernest youtube video on power wheel (max power) adjustment it was just recently reposted on one here in the last 3 days. All the wheel is doing is rotating a cam to adjust your hammer spring. So decock the gun and check and see when you spin the min/max knob if it is pushing the black hammer tension spring arm back. Good start.

Ginuwine, LOL, NO AFFENCE TAKEN....yes I did read the manual that was provided. When changing the power settings, the gun can not be cocked locked and ready to go. I understand that. Also the power adjuster already had been fixed to be on its highest available setting. (For .30 cal shots. Max Power) I want to just take it apart but I like having a warranty. KWIM.....

GQ, yeah it's the heavies. But even putting just the norm, 25.4 exacts there still not turning as my little magazines due. I honestly couldn't believe it. I curtainley am not a newbie by any means. My cricket don't have any of these issues at all. Nor did my Bobcat. Or my verminator for that matter.

Sharroff, I happen to agree with this. 100.00 magazine should not function this way. This particular gun has had all sorts of little irritations that came with it. And for some reason this is the only one, out of 6 different psp rifles. And it's by far, one of the most expensive one's out of the bunch. Could it be just mine. I hope so, because if everyone's is acting up like this....FX has some real R&D to do. SAS
