FX Impact Bellevue washer

I just went thru this. I heard from a lot of people with answers from 9 to 11 to 15. I called FX and was told if you have a piston that is 16mm long and the washers are 8mm then you would use16 washers. I tried 11 and it would not have over 45 bar. I put 16 on piston everything worked just fine. Set regulator at 140 bar and let sit for 2 days no creep.

I just took mine apart to change the pistol and there’s 15 as edosan stated.

After replacing the pistol it also fixed my 2 minute pressure recovery delay.

What does it mean to "change the pistol"?

The black part to the left of the bellevue washer is the piston. My auto correct mis-spelled it as pistol.

That is interesting I called FX and the teck told me 16 I did 16 and it works just fine. But if you took yours down and it had 15 then I have to assume that FX was just winging it.

When you took the piston out was the first washer against the large head of piston bevel up or down ?

I measured the thickness. 3 was .150 and 12 was .155.

I than placed them in this order. Piston )()()()()()()()

I used 2 of the .150 towards the piston and the 3rd on the other end.
