Have you guys noticed a significant enough difference in accuracy and air efficiency to justify the longer overall length and higher cost?.

I dont because Im to much an old shaterhand shooter. I got the same results with booth barrells. However, if you are a Hightech Equipment sniper, you could find some differences.

I had the chance to speak to Fredrik Axelsson at the Utah Airguns Grand Opening. He was having a bit of fun when he commented that a big advantage of the 700mm barrel was that it put you just that much closer to the target.
Someday, I might buy a 700, but for today, can't afford one. I think accuracy improvements are more than just adding a barrel and doing a direct comparison. It takes time to tune the gun for the new barrel, so best to have a gun with 600mm and a gun with 700mm so you can tune each to the fullest and see what combination gives the best results.
And since I don't have the extra $2049 for a new Impact with a 700mm barrel, I'll just have to say, I don't know.

longer barrel uses less air for same energy, but that doesnt mean that longer barrel will be more accurate!!
