FX Impact .35 Anyone fed up of it yet

Has anyone bought one and got fed up of it and back to another caliber now or what... is the general idea of the post

So is your question asking is anyone fed up with the .357 caliber? You mentioned back yard plinking, that is crazy for backyard unless you have crazy large back yard. I had impact with .25 and changed it to 22 and now I’m target shooting with “less” guns with .177 and .22 caliber.

do you all think that guns were conceived to shoot at pretty little targets and paper? Just wondering... LOL

The FX Impact is also designed to change the barrel when you want and it is easier to have a .357 and change it down to a .25 or .22 to plink; it is harder to go the other way. That is the reason why I prefer the .357 so I can hunt and have the enjoyment of shooting a bigger caliber but can easily change it down to shoot when I want...

Well...just like the title says...I’m guessing most folks are using for hunting rather than the range or backyard plinking with that beast

I'd be willing to bet you'll get no takers replying "yes, I'm fed up with it for backyard plinking" to your loaded question, because no remotely informed air gunner would buy a .35 FX Impact (or .35 anything) mainly for backyard plinking. And if they were fed up, it would not cost them $500 to remedy the situation.

Guess that you could say the same for any caliber over .177 if you have no need for that kinda power.

IMHO, I think that the .35 would be ideal for hogs, from what I read, the .30 is great for coyotes and long range stuff, the .25 is an versatile middle of the road caliber and the .22 very capable for general shooting, pesting and small game hunting.

I shoot .177 for 10 meter and plinking but for the type of shooting I do (30 fpe is plenty of power), my go to caliber is .22. I don't shoot my .25 Royale 500 much but I would never say that I was "fed up" with it. I thought about getting a .25 barrel for my Impact but hey, the Royale is there, it's paid for and I do like it.

If you have no use for a .35 Impact, then don't buy one, no need to get upset with it. Just realize that .177 is not very good caliber for hogs, coyotes or long range shooting, that's what the bigger calibers are for. Each to their own interests eh?

If you were the one person who actually decided you wanted/needed only one gun to do it all, pcp wise, then the 35 impact along with say a 22 and 25 barrel kits would be all you needed. There would be no need to buy another gun.

Use the 25 and 35 for hunting duties, while the 22 can be the target shooting gun for both short range(pellets) and long range(slugs).
