"Summer"I have been trying to get an impact in Australia, there is only one exporter. Got the price today going to be in here around March price $3300 bit expensive seeing I can get a revolution for $2500.

That sort of money will get you a very nice Steyr, given all the problems with FX rifles lately I know what that hard earned would be better spent on.

I'd be thinking twice about spending my hard earned money on an Impact seeing what it being posted by OWNERS of them, with pic's.

I have the Impact on my "to-do" list. I'm NOT convinced that the Impact is NOT what one expects. It may just be that those who have Impact's with no problems are out shooting them and not writing about them. Don't get me wrong, I would be complaining if my gun had some of the issues I have seen online. We just don't know (From actual satisfied customers) how many that is. (I've seen this happen with many other products)

Personally, I'm going to let it all shake out before I invest in one and I hope I can wait long enough for that to happen. :D

Thanks for all the info everybody, I tend to agree about the price. Maybe I should look at a Steyr, I was looking at the FX because it was light approx. 7lbs. Might do a bit more research, not a lot of people into airguns where I live. This is probably the last airgun I will buy so I wanted to make it the best for hunting and plinking, .22 cal that's accurate and reasonably quiet as we are not allowed shrouds or baffles etc. Maybe the Steyr hunting 5 or LG 110.
