FX Impact (.25 cal) Grub screw, how many threads should it show past the hammer

That video is for full power .30 only.

there is No set thread length on max, as long as you have 1/8 play on the block when the wheel is back on un-cock.

You dont want preload on the H-spring in high power.

you can adjust the clearance to your liking !

P-sample;

the speed you want is in between power # 4&5

#4 820fps
you wanted 880fpe
#5 910fps
max 935fps

you can adjust the screw or VS or both to get 880fps on power #5

What is the weight of the pellet you are using?

Hi Eddy 1840, I am using JSB Exact King Heavy 33.95 MK1 (Cannot get hold of MK2 in the UK). Ted suggested in his recent video to shoot this weight at 830fps and not 850fps....

My issue is with the regulator set at 135 bar, wheel at max and the valve on the forth line left side (looking down from the top barrel forward) I can only get these pellets to circa 818fps.

So left wondering what else can I do.

The rifle is accurate so no issues there, just would like to see 830fps. Maybe with the JSB I am using it is not possible, too much friction in the barrel maybe. I know the regulator is set for sure at 135 bar (as I am not using the rifle gauge) to test and I have tried settings from 115 bar in 5 bar increments up to 145bar. What happens at the higher setting is the spread of 16 shots has a much higher SD when compared to 130/135 bar.

Tricky one...

Your going to need 150-155b to get it past 830fps with VS and HS max out but not over to wast air.

Dont adjust reg screw past flush with body, you will blow or damage the oring----watch my video

I'm designing a short AT to screw on the regulated gauge connection will have a gauge connection on the end, this will have enough air volume to shoot the .30 44g and .25 34g past 900+fps.

With added AT it will have twice or more regulated volumes then stock,

Also this will reduce the refresh rate, at 155b it takes about 15-20 seconds to go from 110b to 155b after the shot.

Hi Sniperlabyo,

So you are Ernest, sorry I am a bit slow on the uptake...Just for the record, I like and appreciate the videos you upload.

Again thanks for all the information you have freely provided. I'll try adjusting the reg to 150 tomorrow and see what happens.

Question, will you be selling the short AT screws or are they for your own personal use?

after fully tested and see the max speed it can provide then decide if worth offering.
