fx impact 177 groups

Here's a couple from 55yds with my FX Impact.177. Under a half inch with no problem. The picture of the Impact in front of the target is my 100yd target and it does very well at that range for a .177 and it's probably the most stable I've ever seen a pellet in flight.

Although I am loving the performance of this gun I still think I'll be trading it for a Daystate Airwolf.177 just simply because I love buying,selling and trading air rifles and trying a variety of PCP's. Life's too short to hang onto the same gun forever!!!

How are you liking it? How many shots do you get on a full fill? The Impact in .177 gets 160 regulated shots and the magazines hold 21 pellets and I bought a spare so I literally can fill my Impact once and head off into the woods to hunt and not have to worry about air. 

Airranger, by looking at the pellet imprints, those look a bit more than 1 inch groups, it should do a bit better at 50yards.
In my experience my .177s when performing good, they can do pellets touching 'cloverleaf' at 30meters at 11fpe. thats 1cm.
So at your 17fpe it must hold tighter at 50 even with a bit of wind. The 100yard seems fine to me, so i guess you had no wind.

Yeah I'm cheap, I'll shoot the same target multiple times but two of the 3 were within a half inch and the other was a little more. I just so happened to have those pictures available to post because I normally don't take pictures of my targets. In any case I've definitely shot smaller groups than that. I'll go out this Friday and see if I can't maybe catch some groups on film. I'm having a gentleman from MD come up to look at my Taipan Mutant Standard.22 for a possible sale and while I'm out I'll show you some shooting.

what are the regulators set on for the .177 ? What pressure ?

Mine came from the factory set at 110bar for my .177cal. setup.

OK thanks guys, I Was wondering because I finally got an impact in 25 and just love the adjustability of this gun and am going to get a 177 barrel kit and turn it down to tune her in . What is the best mid weight pellet in 177 for her ?
