FX impact 13fpe .22 getting 810 shots per one fill

Weatherby, told me about this guy in UK that shot 720 shots at 12fpe impact,

will I want to find out if I can beat that count, if so i will do it at 13fpe

took me 2 hours to complete the string, was a challenge for the Caldwell G2 app to keep track and iphone not crashing. man I loaded the mag 50 times using 3 mag, I fire every 2-4 seconds a shot, tried to shoot faster but i get an error message, when started the 1st mag was shooting little too fast so I lowered the speed that's why the ES is high. im just going for shot count nothing else. f you want to see the whole string I can email it to you.

strated at 245b down to 30b or so
reg was low around 75b
using 16g jsb 

next a 32fpe .22 over 200 shots??









 
I am having a hard time understanding the screen shots. : ( What caliber is this? .177? What was the beginning pellet speed and the ending one? How did you do it? Just by adjusting all the various setting son the impact (the ones that can be adjusted form the outside), or something more "complicated"? The reason I ask is, because I would like to know how hard it would be for a "non-mega-tuner" like yourself to do this. : )

Posting 800 shot string will be to long to scroll down.

look at the right side of 1st screen shot , it state max and min speed, the other screen shot is the beginning and ending of string.
No time to fine tune her and adjusting speed so that's why the high ES. 

It's a .22 shooting 16g JSB.

setup:

500cc bottle
23" barrel high polish barrel bore
extra 25cc reg tube 
milled value housing 
enlarged barrel TP

If you want some interesting data...some theoretical but still good info! I just assumed your extra res volume of 25 cc was plenum, but it doesn't effect much anyhow.






without the extra Plenum I would loose 45fps then I would have to increase reg pressure to make up the lost--- 800+ shot wouldn't be possible!

have you tested the same setup with your impact???

or your just testing the theory in your head without testing real time??? I mean having the gun and knowledge to do actually testing.

Plenum size has VERY little to do with ANY of the calculations...if you tell me your actual plenum size I'll show you how little it effects the above math...its not testing theories in my head its just giving you FPE/CI and the Efficiency of your air usage, applies to any pcp...not just impacts

At that low of power, you'd be surprised how small of a plenum you could get away with, and how little to NONE fps would be lost...

wanna know your recommended plenum size for 14-15 FPE? 14-17 CC...lol

Show me your full string I bet I can see which shot # you EXACTLY came off reg...why? I bet yout plenum is oversized for that FPE which makes it VERY detectable.

I just saw you were shooting 16's and not 18's which actually changes the above math more than what a plenum difference would....here is the above data for 16 gr

Man what's are you doing here -- your to smart for most of us, who cares about efficiency, I just want to see how many shots I can shoot at 13fpe on my impact. 

Now have to switch to .30 barrel so you can figure out the efficiency on that.

Man the extra Plenum was made for the .30 high power it's was there. It's came off the reg at 75b and I been adjusting the VS to keep to speed within 13fpe all the way down to 25b or so. This treads is to get 800+ shots not to get what you want to see what you like --move on

You still haven't stated your plenum size? It's quite beneficial to know :)

Sorry you're so tilted over data but I was just sharing for those that may be interested, in fact I have every right to as its on topic and OP's don't dictate what can and can't be said in a thread, moderators do...so until one asks me to stop posting statistical data I will do as I please. On a positive note I'll add that an 18 gr would be quite better in this test and should yield more shots @ the same power, especially if fine tuned...take care....
