FX Guys-------What is this screw for? fx dreamline breech

new scope rings are finally coming tomorrow for my fx dream lite bottle,

so i took the scope and rings off,and pulled out the barrel to pull a dry patch through.


and then started wondering to myself --- whats that screw for? 


its back about a half inch from the breech end of the barrel,
and directly above,

but moves with resistance when i turned it a hair in either direction,so its not tight,should it be? 


and help would be greatly appreciated.

and i love this scope too,its quite impressive!



i played around with a few other sets of rings,

but couldnt move the scope far enough forward for my liking (or to clear the magazine)

due to the fact that this discovery has nice long eye relief,

and didnt want to go to super high rings.



plus i really wanted something to offset all the black,

and to bring out its deliciousness 😍



the offset bkl's put the scope right where it needs to be for me,

and i think the silver double straps look great 👍
