FX Dreamline

That's what companies do.. hit u hard on items that only they produce.. it's not fair.. but it's their / one way of recovering development and marketing costs.
FB? I don't use that.. i've got too many distractions in my life now..
still excited about this rifle.. hope it performs up to expectations. I hope FX sends one to Ted and Matt for review. They are hunters...

OK, here's how it'll work.
The Dreamline will be late because there are so many parts that will need to be available at the start. Multiple stock options, and such.
So, the October goal for pre-orders will probably be December. In December they'll be buried in pre-orders so anyone on the pre-order list will be 6 to 12 months out.
The initial guns will have some quality problems like the Impact did, so the 12 months out folks will get really good guns

So, you are looking at 18 months to 2 years before this thing catches up with the demand so it's readily available.

Sorry to rain on your parade, but if you are shopping for a gun, stick to Plan A and don't wait. It's nice, but I'll be able to buy an Impact now and save for a Dreamline and have the cash before it's really available. Might as well get a good gun now and save for the Dreamline and order it after all the kinks are worked out.

My attitude is that if it's not available today, it doesn't exist, except in someone's mind. I need to have the hardware to shoot, not to wait and be tormented along the way. :) :)

FX makes a great gun but doesn't have a good reputation for delivering the good stuff on time. Almost always production problems ya know.
