FX Dreamline and Slugs

Hi !

I will love to shoot some slugs out of my FX Dreamline in .22, I have already tried the FX Hybrids and they work really good, but they are way too expensive to shoot the amounts of rounds I usually do, so looking for something that dont break the bank. I heard the H&N Slugs HP are good, but I dont know which one work best out of the DL (Im from Chile, so I dont have easy access to them so I would import them, so I would love to spare me the try and error of testint all of them: .217 or .218 and the different weights) and I also heard about the new JSB KO, but I think they are a bit to heavy for the DL so I dont know.

Has anyone try any of these slugs out of the DL that can share his experience? I would love to get some insight

I also have a DL bullpup but in. 30cal and can't comment on the slugs you mentioned but I used Nielsen Specialty Ammo and he manufacturers ammo that is/ works specifically in FX rifles. His slugs are so highly preferred they're even used by Competition shooters in their FX guns. I would definitely add his slugs to your list to try. Good luck finding what works best in your particular FX rifle. BTW, Nielsen is one of the listed and approved Manufactures on this site.

There are plenty of options — I know, makes it tough when you don't live in the US....

I attached a Slug Table in .22cal below with all the different brands, sizes, and prices that I'm aware of.



I'm in Peru — in the same situation as you..... I bought as many different samplers as I could afford, and then some 100-packs of brands that don't offer samplers, and a friend brought them down to Peru.

The next friend will then be bringing supplies of the slugs that actually work in my guns. 😊
