FX Crown vs FX Dreamline

I might consider other high end guns like the Daystate , but the electronic system is not for me, I thought maybe the wolverine R for that reason, but its heavier than the Crown, and thats kind of important for me... Other airguns I looked its the Edgun matador R5m standard because its a high power bullpup and rock solid but I havent be able to see one by myself and feel it and other brands like Brocock, Cricket, Taipan or Vulcan are always a good choice but at the moment I prefer FX (any thoughts about this other brands and airguns are welcome)

At the moment I belive I will go for the dreamline Bullpup in .25 but with a .22 600mm barrel and use the extra money to change my SFP Aztec emerald 5.5-25x50 for a FFP scope, im thinking in a Vortex or a MTC, but who knows i am very volatile about these things, i might just go and get the crown just because ...

DL in bull pup is a nice gun. I thought you want rifle not bull pup. It has all impact adjustability plus it's more comfortable to use because there is stock in your hand instead of bottle.

But believe that you will change it next year, because FX always introduce s.th new that you want it. new reg or stock or etc.

I owe FX and all FX owners will change their gun or buy two or three at same time. Half of every post here is about FX (49% update, 49% leaking and 2% etc).

For handpumping reasons alone, I would not get a big bottle gun.

That said, I do have a 22 caliber crown. For most game 16fpe is good. But mine is also tuned to 62fpe with 36gr slugs. (and goes higher) The 22 will make plenty of power and be cheaper to shoot.

FYI if you are filling from a scba tank, the crown is worth every penny. You will not regret it. In 22 at 16 fpe my shot count is truly stupid. Likely around 300 or so. For 0-40yards 16fpe is good for squirrel, fowl. Pellet tune on 380mm barrel goes up to 38fpe if I need.

how is the shot count with the 380 barrel at 30fpe in .22 ? the main reason why i would be switching to .25 is the more stable trayectory and the better response to the wind, but if I could get over 35 fpe in .22 with that smaller barrel I would reconsider it , the .22 ammo is cheaper and its better supply in my country

how does slugs behave out of the 700 barrel ? I would like to try them for shooting over 100 yds, hunting rabbits and competition

I can easily get at least 100 shots at 35fpe in short barrel. I think it's more like 130. Too many to count, haha. @131 bar.

I've done port work on my gun to up efficiency. And added a 7gm hammer weight for slug tune @155 bar.

I can get 25gr cup base slugs at 1.5" groups at 100yrds, and the 36gr boat tails are nearly hole in hole. Even with some wind.

Shot out a shot shell primer with ease (and a 7mph cross wind without compensating)
