Love my .25 Crown, but it is too powerful for my local club matches. My .177 Shroud Barrel kit is on its way from AOA. What regulator pressure should I start with? Any other adjustments besides the power wheel.

    Thanks MikeB

I would set the default settings according to airguns depot's guide https://www.airgundepot.com/fx-crown.html.  It should be 100-110 bar. Maybe set it to 100 bar first, so it will be easier to adjust up later if you want to. And be careful you do not start with hammer spring wheel on max, from the first shots, just in case.

100-110 is a good place to start. Make sure your gauges are somewhat accurate before you mess with the regulator otherwise you’ll never know what pressure you are at.

Have fun and congrats on the new .177

With the Wildcat I set my reg at 90bar and am getting 865 with the 10.34's. I originally set it at125 and it would put them over 1000. This should give you a starting point depending on what FPS you want to shoot.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the info. I had her out yesterday in the Sierras and we managed 4 Marmots, 84 yards to 147. The 25cal hits them hard.

I have to say my Crown with .177 barrel on wont shoot worth a damn at less than 140 reg pressure!
