FX Crown question

If you purchase the Continuum It comes with a 380mm and a 700mm barrel and moderator with upgrades at xtra price. Caliber of your choosing as well as stock. After the purchase or with the purchase you can order another Caliber kit Barrel probe and shroud. I have one on order with a 700mm slug barrel in .22 and the xtra barrel is $109. Barrel Kit is I think either $309 or $409 has probe and shroud. I have a feeling after the first second big shipment on the Continuum one will be able to purchase the gun with different barrels in different length like 500mm and 600mm as long as you have the shroud on the gun as well, each length can have a couple barrels to insert.

Why do you think they will start selling the gun with the option to choose different barrels and barrel lengths? I hadn't heard anything about it or anything that would lead me to believe you could purchase with these options. Just curious if you know something the rest of us don't or you're just guessing. I'm not being critical at all, I'm just curious if it's legitimate information or speculation. Thanks and have a good one. Stoti

WAG really! But seems like a logical next step. FX has a winner with the Crown Continuum as it stands but many are ordering different length and barrels so I think it would be a big seller if one could order a 380mm pellet barrel and a 500mm or 600mm slug barrel. Right now with a back log of ordered gun most likely not but as supply catch's up maybe.

I'm still waiting for the superlight barrels to become available to get a 30 cal kit. No advantage of 25 vs 22 reciever, they are the same. I have a 22 continuum. One of my friends has a 600mm 25 cal crown and he has done the same mods I have and cannot get the power Im getting in 700mm 22 🤷‍♂️

And no, I don't think you'll be able to get different barrel lengths. It doesn't make sense from a retail or manufacturing standpoint. In fact, I think the Continuum as sold will become unavailable for purchase within less than a year

Its already not being sold as it originally came out..

I went to Krale yesterday to pick up my cc, when the employee opened the box too have a look it didn't have the picatinny to install a bipod and didn't have a moderator aswell, they have it on their website advertising it coming with rail and moderator, but for some unknown reason they(fx) already stopped selling em how they sold em a few weeks ago...

Did get installation of rail, and the actual rail at no charge aswell as a moderator,so all good in the end.

So long gun Dallas u are definitely right on that!!!

One thing you can count on with FX is change. I guess innovation is good, but FX seems hyper active in the pursuit of change. My experience with FX is only the last couple of years, but my impression is, they sometimes introduce things prematurely. Seems to me, their customers would be better served with more in-depth design work and testing up front. I bought a Crown a couple years ago, and I thought the barrel liner/sleeve/shroud assembly system was overly complex and fragile. Maybe that has been improved in the Continuum design.
