FX Crown Launched Today at IWA

Reporting direct from the IWA Show in Germany...

Today, FX Airguns launched the new Crown air rifle. This really looks amazing, with multiple twist rate barrels, multiple power adjusters, multiple pressure gauges, a range of stocks, easy caliber change and more!

Too tired right now to give more information ( a serious case of Jet Lag has hit me!), but you can see more in Hard Air Magazine at

And please follow my daily reports from the show as they are published over the next few days.

Typo I am sure: "The stock of the FX Impact is manufactured by Minelli in Italy. ;)

To apply the smooth twist to the whole barrel probably lends itself better to total machine production and lessens / equalizes stresses in the barrel caused by the "ST" process since it is applied equally and simultaneously to the entire barrel rather than the end few inches like the "Old" ST barrels.

The prior smooth twist barrel appears to have to be straightened after the smooth twist process (YouTube Video showed Fredrik processing a barrel). This was costly and time consuming not lending itself well to a speedy production process. I imagine this new process removes a major bottleneck in FX's production line.
