FX Crown dress to impressed with CF shroud sleeve and 500CC CF bottle

Feels like another new AG in a better way for my taste., well just got her last week---if you know me by now I have to mod a new AG to be happy, hoping I get another mag full with the 500CC, will test shot count later this week shooting the 34gmk2 at 880 fps. .need to buy another scope mount to use my larger scope so I can get close and personal.over 100y. easy dime size groups at 65y.

The crown simple design makes it more reliable than the impact—that said I still prefer the impact it’s more like my style and I can take it completely apart in 5 min.

1. Crown probe mounting screw is larger and stronger with a larger hex then the impact and man so much faster to change probe and at the rear of probe has the caliber marking for quick reference.
2. Valve rod and seat assembly less than 2.5” long same as all royale HP valve resulting in quicker open and close reactions time that will yield lower ES/SD. the impact is way heavy and over 12" long and about 6 oring to seal the valve rod. only one on the crown.
3. all crown has the updated reg with the longer piston with more D-washer and longer adjuster and less leak issue, the newer impact will get the updated reg, dont even ask to get the updated reg you need the whole action to do so. on going improvement with the impact --- that I like!

more later on testing and results.

"Gwelo"Like the carbon fibre wrap on the shroud! You got a nice hunk of timber there also.

Is that a 500cc bottle you have on the Crown? Same one as on your Impact? Where did you get it?

Did you get to 880 fps with the 34g MK II's by tuning or did you have to change/add parts?

Looking forward to your testing!!

yes 500CC bottle,

got the bottle and valve on the net.

No, you can't get that speed by just adjusting the HSTA, if you adjust the preload on the hammer spring to much, your max speed will be lower at max setting its will be on the lower # on the power wheel. if you want rising speed change to max setting don't adjust preload set screw on the left side of wheel.

dont recommend doing that while gun is under warranty
