Fx crown air leak- HELP

Hi folks. I tried to swap out my crown continuum valve seat for a larger one. For the first 5 shots it worked great then on the last shot all the air emptied out through my barrel. I was told that the delrin on my pin might have been too small to seal properly so i put the old valve seat back in and when i went to fill the tank, air just came straight out the barrel. Also air came through the breach if i had the cocking lever open.

This is now leaking using the original valve seat. Does anyone have any idea what else may be the cause? O rings look ok in it.

Thanks for the help!

Don't cringe when I say to fire it.

Yo is on the right track. The valve you put in might not have sealed properly and when you put the original valve back in, you could have damaged the valve o-ring. I've had them leak like that and couldn't see a defect at all. I looked through my 3x glasses and could see a tiny scratch that was causing the problem. What I'd suggest, if you're in there anyway, change all the o-rings you come across and wipe them down with pure silicone if you have some. It certainly can't hurt and you might fix the problem without knowing exactly what o-ring it was. I would bet it's either the valve seat, the o-ring on the outside of the valve or the one on the valve housing(D37, D38 and D42 I think). Good luck. Let us know what happens! Happy 4th!

I don't have my Crown anymore and am trying to remember back to which was which. I then pulled up the schematic and took a look. I think O-rings D37 and D38 are correct. D42 is the valve seat. If it was working before you swapped out the valve, I would bet it's got to be one of these o-rings. Sorry, the valve housing is just the outside of the valve D-36, where the oring is located.

I think i fixed it. I just had installed a Huma extra high pressure washer set. Huma had sent one extra bellville washer and i put in into the reg. I think this made my reg piston too stiff and it went off reg dumped everything at a higher pressure than it would have normally. I took the extra washer out and it seems to be working at the moment. It is at least holding air when it wouldn't before.
