The Huma regulator installed in my Crown .25 has exceeded my expectations, I can let gun sit for weeks and no more regulator creep. The shot count and efficiency are outstanding, with power wheel set at 4 velocity with 25.4 JSB Exacts is right at 920 FPS and gun shoots flat and is lights out accurate. I highly recommend upgrading your FX Crown with a Huma if you are annoyed with regulator creep as I was.

I removed regulator and measured, my regulator had 16mm long piston with 8mm diameter belville washers.Therefore my Crown was a Gen 2 regulator.

No. IDK why everyone thinks amp reg is so special or something. It's just a fancy name to fool folks like that. Smh. The only difference from the amp reg vs older model is, the amp reg can be adjusted with bottle attached. Older model you need to remove the bottle. Amp reg does not, I repeat does not fix the reg creep. I have an impact x with amp reg and it creep. I have an Huma reg on the way. I hope it fix this damn reg creep. I hate how we spend $2000 on a high end gun and still have to spend $120 to fix this damn thing. Smh fx shouldnt be putting crappy reg and gauge in their gun if they are selling their guns in the $1500-2000 range.

I agree completely with you and the new ImpactX is my next purchase (next year) I suppose Utah AG can customize the impact with a Huma. If not I might have to seek alternative .25cal perhaps the Vulcan or any one of those fine PCP from EdGun. I prefer my next PCP to be ready out of the box with no problems that will creep in with age. Currently my "hi end" PCP is the Wildcat MKII I really love this gun and had it stretch out to 75yds on paper with sub 1" groups and took a squirrel at 60'ish+ yards.

I have to say, I have a .22 FX Crown, serial number late enough to be gen 3 with AMP reg. It never creeps. I had it set at 135 bar and didn’t shoot it for a month. When I took it out of the gun safe it was at 135 bar. No creep. Then I put a .177 barrel on it and set to 110 bar. Let it sit for two weeks. Still at 110 bar. Creep? Nope.

I had a Crown with the Amp and a new Impact with the Amp and I've had absolutely no creep with either of them either.

Centercut .. it awesome on a lead sled it shoot hole in hole at 30yrds and sub 1" at 75yrds I haven't stretch it out to 100 yrds yet.. I have the room for it (I live on a ranch) just that the Alpacas get in the way lol. But like I mentioned my next PCP will be a .25cal and I have been looking at YouTube any and all info I can on the Impact my main criteria first and foremost is needs to be a bottle I can go cheap and go with Dreampup with the bottle but I rather got for broke on the Impact and just remove all doubt

Farrah, you want a .25 that’ll shoot lights out, powerful, great trigger and hundreds and hundreds less than an Impact look at a Taipan Veteran Long. Just as accurate, just as powerful, better trigger, more reliable, and over $500 cheaper. Enough left over for a nice scope and lots of pellets. . I know, it’s not a bottle gun, but still gets lots of shots per fill. And much easier to work on and maintain..

Centercut is spot on with the Taipan Veteran suggestion. Consider the long, full length version. Unlike the Impact, it has fewer o rings than a plumbers van and it costs significantly less than an Impact.
I know because I have a Taipan Mutant and it's simple to replace o rings when needed. First time replacement was after 3 years and ~7000 pellets.
If you want a bottle gun consider the Airgun Technology's Uragan. The company's reputation is very good and the their Vulcan's accuracy is stellar with a midship cocking lever. I think they were one of the first to have this game changing design feature. Cost is in between the Veteran and an Impact.
I'd recommend Georgia Airguns as a first choice for either gun suggested. Call him and have a conversation, you'll appreciate his candor and honesty. He provides extra magazines with his rifles at no extra charge. I'm getting a total of 4 with my new rifle at no extra cost. He told me this is what he does.

I see a lot of posts about the impact and all the o rings and problems with regs etc. etc. etc. so I'd like to offer my opinion as a owner of the 2nd gen? (not the x) .25 cal with original S/T barrel. I was a little hesitant to purchase one as I heard of problems they were having but after speaking with Daren at AOA was told most problems were owner induced so I went ahead and bought one. It was shooting the .25kings very accurately but I wanted to shoot the heavy's so soon I started to mess with the settings. After that is when I noticed if I let it set over night it took a few shots to bring it back to poi. Sooo the big huma rage was on but they didn't make them for impact yet. I sent an email to huma to let me know if and when they did make them and a few months later they sent me a prototype. Since then I have shot countless tins of heavys through my Impact I could only guess the number but id estimate over 18,000 and have never needed to replace even an O ring. Personally I love my impact and two other FX guns I own (bobcat and Boss) and would be hard pressed to sell any of them but specially the Impact.
