FX Crown .25 Regulator Setting?

If I'm shooting the 25.4 I back of the reg to 130 PL5 that's mid 880's.
KH I go up to 140 PL5 mid 850's. No POI change at 50 yards this way.
These guns are all a bit different but close. I Sat down one afternoon a while back
Took the stock off then put the PW and safety back on and played with all the settings.
Mine does not like the HST tight up against the cam on the PW set to max for instance.
I lost velocity on PL 5 and max. In backing it off just a little I got more consistent velocity
gains from 4 through max and PL3 is of use as well. It's only going develop so much power.
I wanted mine on max to get that not 4 or 5. That's how mine works any way.

"wolfie"Thanks, but not how others did it, difficult to fire without stock on.
Sure somebody else quoted distance of gap .
That is indeed a way to do it but it is the rough way to do it.
That method goes as follows: If you remove the stock and look at the tiny peep-hole under the magazine port you can see the valve stem. Place the gun barrel up (so pointing straight up to the sky) and turn the allen screw in until you can see the tip of the hammer through that hole. If you do this your close to being maxed out.

However, using a chronograph you can find the exact point at where the HST is at the max and therefore it is the better way to do it.
Firing the gun without a stock is easy but not as comfortable as with the stock :)
