FX Crown 22 - Prepped to shoot slugs!

One mag of the Varmint Knockers. Seems it likes 927fps.....I've never seen so many duplicates!!

As I understand it,the ricochet sound occurs when a spinning projectile impacts an object at other than 90 deg and is pushed off its axis on which it is spinning.After impact, the projectile is in effect still spinning but not spinning on it's line of travel. The decrease in the pitch of the ricochet sound from high freq to a lower pitch is due to the decreasing spin rate and velocity .We seldom hear pellets doing it ,but slugs are a spin stabilized projectile .
