Absolutely love it! Has been flawless, not all strings look this good but had a golden string yesterday with a "terrible" stock reg.

Sexy! My father has this chrony and I'm seriously thinking about picking one up. I wonder how well it works affixed to the front of a shooting bench versus on the barrel. I have a DonnyFL Ronin on my Concept Lite and I worry about barrel sag.

Looks like you can mount it "upside down" on a table and shoot over it? Does it still work that way?

Thanks in advance, what I liked about using my fathers is that it's so small compared to an optical chrony and I liked the voice report using the FX application coupled over BT to a smartphone.

Yeah i tried it upside down and worked just as well. You can just sit it on something below the barrel I'm sure.

I like mine as well. It's pretty amazing how consistent slugs shoot! I don't know about the accuracy, my Caldwell show more FPS deviation than the FX. @ LMNOP I use mine off the bench using a short adjustable tripod I got from Amazon. It really cool to play around with velocity and accuracy! Crown .25

The FX seems convenient to use. But it seems I've seen the same sort of strings reported by others as well who then had more variation from an optical chrony. It's hard for me to believe that there are very many gun/pellet combinations that can run off strings that repeat the same velocities over and over again. I would have to bet that the Caldwell would be more likely to measure and report small variances than the FX. Could it be that the FX will show the same velocity unless it sees a certain amount of change? All relative I guess and as long as the unit is showing velocity within an acceptable comparable range of accuracy then it should be good to go.
