does every gun very in speed a little cause I see aoa doing a review and they had a 880 average I think . Or are chronographs diffent I had it about 6 inches away from that barrel . .? Pellets were jsb 44.75 240 bar fill . 865-865-867-861-860-856-853-861-858-857-859-862-857-856-861-859-859-854-859-860-861-855-854-858-860-852-851-859-858-856-862-855-863-867-866-865-864-868. That's 40 shots with a min of 851 and max of 868. Spread of 17 stdev of 4.5 . Thanks for your input .

No 2 guns of same make and model will tend to shoot identical numbers. Your string looks good. I don't have my notes on hand, but I spent 2 weeks with a Boss and your numbers look very similar to my results if memory serves correct.

You might be able to get a little more fps just by adjusting the hammer spring preload CW. I would try a 1/2 turn check the speed and then try a 3/4 to a full turn. This might get you where you want to be without having to re-adjust the regulator.

I would recommend adjusting the hammer spring tension before touching the regulator. Hammer tension screw is the bottom hole with the 5mm hex socket. The screw had to be heated quickly with a butane torch to soften the loctite. Clockwise rotation increases your tension (more velocity) and its little touchy so go at 1/2 turn increments. If your not confident in doing something like this...in my opinion...just leave it alone and have fun with the rifle! That shot string looks great and there's good possibility it will get better once you get that regulator and other parts "broke in".

Thanks for the input ! Gun shoots great . I would not be scared to do what you are doing with the torch . Just not sure if it really needs it lol . Yeah it shoots a little slow but not much .
