Fx Bobcat Mk1 .22 to regulate or not ?

Just my $.02....
My first PCP was a BSA Superten....regulated .22 ...no shot curves or sweet spots to find...50 shots 8fps difference...finally needed new orings 18 yrs later...been shooting ground squirrel for the last two weeks ever since Precision Pneumatic Products rebuilt the reg.

Month ago I bought an FX Royale 400 oldie with no reg...ordered a HUMA drilled a 2mm hole....no more shot curves or sweet spot to find..
after a few minor adjustments with a chrony to the HST screw....it's a fill and fire affair...

Get the HUMA fine tune...and shoot.

I bought my .25 bobcat mk1 new from AOA about three yrs ago ordered it regulated. It has 480 cu/in tube and gets over 100 reg shots 920fps.laser accurate, loves the JSB .25gr kings

Interesting to hear. I thought the MK1 25 caliber and 30 caliber already came fitted with regulators from FX

and the 22 and 177 weren't and you had to pay extra for them to have them installed. I have the 22 25 and 30 and the 22 did not have a regulator while the others did.
