FX barrels

I'm not a pcp gut by any means but it has been in the back of my mind since I shot Brain Vanlue (sorry for messing up your last name brian). He had a fx Bob or wild car that was so quiet, light and accurate. Well anyway if a fx smooth twist barrel with the rifling only at the last inch was/is so accurate then why continue to make/sell barrels with full rifling?

They being FX has since changed all their barrels and the new ones are rifled throughout the length. It takes alot of reading to keep up with all the new changes that are taking place in the industry as of late it is very time consuming but I find it enjoyable for the most part lol.

Sure the old smooth twist was accurate. But it was pellet picky and speed picky. You need to find the right pellet and speed. The new X system is 10 times better. Will shoot any pellets at any speed and still get great accuracy. That's why they move over to the X system. They no longer sell the smooth twist for one reason. The X is just way better. Simple as that.

What is BC new X system? Is it higher than below ?
