Fx barrel puzzle

It seems like there was a YouTube video of a guy (from Australia I believe) that did this with his Impact with a crown barrel. Maybe look at the parts diagrams for both of the models and see if any of the part numbers interchange.

I guess you guys will need to buy all the pieces to the puzzle to find-out. FX is good at designing Air Guns and excellent at marking!

I have pellet probes for my two FX guns arriving tomorrow, I will confirm the fit of a Crown 177 barrel on my Dream Tac and confirm the Dream Tac 22 barrel on the Crown, having three barrels 177, 22, and 25 I only need need to swap the shrouds betweeen the Dream Tac barrel and Crown 177 barrel... My Crown 25 barrel is 600mm so I don’t have the correct shroud to use it on my Dream Tac...

I’ll confirm fit some time before Sunday night...

I wondered if the barrel assemblies are interchangeable between impact, crown, dream line? Wouldn't it be nice if you owned all 3 or @ least the top 2 would interchange. I know the liners will but barrel assemblies would be sweet.

I currently have all my crowns but 1 shooting impact barrels in the 700mm length. The 1 odd ball is my continuum with the newer barrel system. I deliberately sold my crown barrel kits so I can interchange all of them from my impact to my crowns and back again. You have to remove the shrouds to go from crown to impact but not so from impact to the crown. They interchange and work perfectly with the exception of the probes. They are very different as I am sure you are aware of. I hope this helps
