Assuming you have a proper PW300 rated 300 bar bottle already then yes, you only need the 300 bar fully threaded valve to safely fill to 300 bar.

Do not just add this fully threaded 300 bar valve to an existing PW250 rated 250 bar bottle and then overfill it to 300 bar... 

And 300 bar would be a lot for 1 reg
