New to me 601 bought off of a widow who knows nothing about the rifle. Has very little pressure when trigger is pulled and has noticeable air loss right at the end of the stroke when I open the charging handle. I’m new to airguns although have competed in firearms competitions for decades. Any thoughts or info about where to get this serviced is greatly appreciated!!
Thanks

Try lubricating the pump with Alphabet org auto trans quick fix when the pump handle fully extended and work it in. Wait a day and see if that helps.

Dave Slade Airgunwerks and Pilkingtons would be able to rebuild it for a price plus round trip shipping or fix it yourself if you are able and willing it's not too difficult and save money and the wait time.

It is either the pump arm seal or the firing valve seal that has gone south. These are known common failure points in the FWB 600 series rifles and are easily addressed if you are even slightly mechanically inclined.

The seals for a rebuild are available from Canada. Look on eBay under the search term FEINWERKBAU and you should see a kit available from the seller NIKKONOS in Canada. Very trustworthy seller and I have dealt with them many times.

Examine the exploded diagram of the rifle, and view any video or tutorial that you can find dealing with teardown and reassembly to familiarize yourself with the process.

If you are not comfortable with doing it yourself, then definitely send it off to one of the 2 spots that Odoyle recommended to you. DO NOT just give up on it, the 601 will outshot any of us on this forum any day of the week. If you shoot at the Olympic level, you may find the rifle lacking, but short of that it is a definite keeper.

I bought a 601 last summer.
It shot fine for about 50 shots then pffft.
I sent it to PILKINS for a rebuild.
$180.00.
Perfect now:

Draws air on the opening stroke, will hear suction at end of stroke, normal. Compresses air on closing stroke. Light effort, maybe 16-17 lbs pull. Light poof on discharge with no pellet loaded, again normal.

Do not put any combustible oils or fluids into compression chamber (per manufacturer), pressure sufficient to induce dieseling and damage rifle. This is highlighted in red in a strongly worded warning addendum in manual.

Manual available online from Feinwerkbau.

NIKKONOS on eBay is indeed excellent resource for parts, also has website: targets.ca

If operating as I described above, may be fine as is.

Definitely a fine 10-meter rifle, just don’t expect it to be a great all-around rifle.
